Occupy Life Turns Rougher – Times Colonist Nov 4

Life has become a little more difficult for protesters camped in Centennial Square with the shutoff of power and water.  City hall, citing concerns about frozen pipes, shut off an outdoor tap the Occupy Victoria protesters have been using. They now have to carry water from the square’s public washrooms, which are open 24 hours a day.  The Capital Regional District cut power to an outdoor outlet to coincide with the water shutoff on Wednesday night.

  1. I am very discouraged that you are no longer on council. I am more than frustrated with the outcome because we had a rare fantastic chance to elect a “unorthodox” group of people to the table. With that said the incoming council members are headed in the right direction but for the love of god, the people that chose to not vote are most likely the ones that could relish in what could have been! Its not often to have the opportunity to elect such a eclectic bunch to poke the corporate shills! I thank you for the delicate work you pulled of during your term and hope you keep up the stellar work!
